You will collaborate closely with the Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehouse teams, with comprehensive technical training provided on the job.
Responsibilities
- Oversee RAS/LSS projects from initial inquiry through to commissioning.
- Collaborate with clients to deliver detailed system designs, cost estimates, and equipment specifications.
- Supervise subcontractors and participate in system construction, including hands-on installation and commissioning.
- Offer technical consultancy and prepare site reports.
- Manage project budgets and provide regular reports.
- Deliver technical support for systems to clients.
- Extensive experience in the Aquaculture, Zoo, or Aquarium industry, with a focus on project management and system design.
- Proven track record in the operation and construction of RAS/LSS and related aquaculture systems.
- Deep knowledge of water filtration principles, including RAS/LSS, aeration, mechanical and biological filtration, feeding, oxygen and ozone systems, UV, pumps, and water quality monitoring.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task during high workload periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of determining solutions for customers and providing troubleshooting services both on-site and over the phone.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Proficient in CAD drawing and 3D modeling, or experienced in collaborating with contract drafters.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic, eager to learn, and able to enjoy the work environment.
- Possession of a current driver's license, passport, and willingness to travel both interstate and internationally.
- This is a remote role based out of a home office. While Hobart/Tasmania is preferred, candidates from all locations will be considered.
- Full-time, permanent position.
