Job description

The role:

  • Develop and deliver capital works projects which meet internal client needs and contribute to the continued development of a strategic approach to asset planning across the DoH portfolio.
  • Manage all phases of complex capital works projects in accordance with industry standards and Tasmanian Government and DoH policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide regular and accurate project status reports and briefing papers detailing matters affecting the successful delivery of projects including stakeholder issues, risks, progress and milestones, cash flows and current and forecast cost.
  • Prepare and maintain project plans including key project information, roles and responsibilities, delivery program, critical risk, stakeholders, and budget.

  • Project work may be undertaken statewide

Details of Appointment

Multiple permanent, full time, day worker positions working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

  • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $124,371 to $130,905 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.
  2. A current drivers Licence.
