Mission Beach: You'll work a Monday - Friday roster at our Prawn Farm in Bingil Bay. Work/life balance is key; you'll have plenty of time to enjoy everything Far North Queensland offers!
What does your week look like?
Feeding prawns: Stocking our automated feeding hoppers to ensure there is always plenty of feed available in hoppers.
Paddlewheel maintenance: Maintenance of the paddlewheels in ponds. This could include getting into ponds.
Monitoring prawn health: Routine overview of Prawn Health. Identify, escalate and problem-solve all prawn health issues that arise in a timely manner.
Record keeping: Ensuring records are kept and maintained via an iPad.
General farm maintenance: Performing various tasks essential to the overall operation of the farm. This can include maintaining equipment, cleaning, and other routine tasks.
What can you bring?
We don’t ask for much, just a full driving licence. Any tickets such as forklift, backhoe, excavator or truck licence would be beneficial. Aquaculture experience is also preferred.
