Job Description
The Aquatic Duty Supervisor will be an integral part of the Mt Gravatt Aquatic & Fitness Centre team, supporting management in the day-to-day operations of the Aquatic Centre (25m pool, learn to swim pool and splash pool), as well the busy Aquatics Program (Learn to Swim and Squad) and additional facilities including the on-site Fitness Centre, Recreation Hall and Outdoor Courts.
The role requires an enthusiastic, organised and capable worker with a strong work ethic and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
The successful applicant will be required to work before and after hours and on weekends on an ongoing basis.
This is a part time (25 hours per week) 2-year fixed term position, with potential for extension, based at the Mt Gravatt Aquatic Centre, on the Mount Gravatt campus. Set hours will be given on a fortnightly basis, you will be required to work the contracted hours across 5 days per week.
About you

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Strong computing skills using Microsoft Office and database applications, including POS and bookings/scheduling software.
• Experience in the Aquatics industry, including lifeguarding, water testing and staff supervision
• Current Pool Lifeguard certificate or willing to obtain
• Apply First Aid certificate (including CPR)
• Current, positive Blue Card

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 3 range $60,303 - $66,660 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $70,554 - $77,992 per annum
