The City of Gold Coast is responsible for the operation of eight aquatic centres. Our facilities have something for everyone; learn to swim programs, swimming school programs and carnivals; squad swimming; diving program and pools; as well as a fitness centre and active and healthy aqua classes.

About your new role
Working closely with the Pool Lifeguard Team Leader, you will assist with workplace health and safety compliance training and quarterly in-service training to ensure the team of Pool Lifeguards maintain a high level of competency of skills.

The Selection Process
As part of our selection process, you may be required to undertake a face to face interview and practical skills testing. You will also be required to undertake police checks, employment history checks, qualification checks, a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Australian Standards and Council's procedures.
