Located in Brisbane's inner northern suburb of Lutwyche, our office houses a supportive and down to earth team of seasoned Building Designers and Architects. As a growing design practice, we place a strong emphasis on project execution and client satisfaction. The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Architect or Building Designer to prepare & coordinate detailed construction documentation. Reporting to our Design Manager, you will enjoy autonomy in managing your own projects, liaising with sub-consultants as needed, and ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of high-calibre outcomes for our clients.
Requirements
- Full unrestricted working rights within Australia
- A minimum 3-5+ years of Australian building design experience across diverse sectors, with a primary focus on commercial & retail projects
- Demonstrated expertise in standard commercial building methods, coupled with a thorough understanding of general NCC regulations and Australian Standards
- Strong technical capabilities, with proficiency in Revit, demonstrating both skill and efficiency in producing comprehensive sets of construction documents.
- Recent experience in the Australian construction industry, preferably in a capacity where you independently lead and managed projects.
- A common-sense approach, adept time management skills, and the ability to problem solve with practical solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to quality workmanship
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and initiative
