Building Designer / Graduate Architect

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Designer / Graduate Architect to join a progressive Design studio.

Our client is currently in a growth phase with a strong bank of clients and pipeline of projects coming through. They are looking for an experienced Building Designer or Architect to prepare & coordinate detailed construction documentation (REVIT), as well as run your own projects! Projects span various sectors.

You'll enjoy liaising directly with stakeholders and consultants, decision making, trouble shooting, and ensuring timely and on budget delivery of projects. 

This studio focuses on supporting their employees and prioritising work/life balance and flexibility. They love to have fun and celebrate their wins.

Your duties as Building Designer or Graduate Architect will include but are not limited to:

• Prepare & coordinate CD documentation.
• Coordination with key project stakeholders and consultants.
• Attend project meetings and provide input on technical and design issues.
  
• Site visits.
• Help to mentor juniors in the studio.

The successful applicant will be quality output focussed, have excellent attention to detail, be highly organised, client focussed, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

Additionally, to be considered for this role you must have:

• Australian building design experience across various sectors.
• Proficient understanding of REVIT.
• 3+ years of local Australian experience, preferably managing projects.
• Familiar with Australian Standards & Codes.
• A real client focus.
• Enjoy problem solving and formulating solutions.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, all-round team player.
• Australian or NZ Citizen, or PR - ESSENTIAL.
