AddressThis boutique studio is a friendly and small team located near Central Station. They produce Urban and multi-Residential projects predominantly; with occasional work in Private Residential, Child Care centers and other small projects. Exciting opportunity for an Architect to join their team - working on contract you will be paid hourly.
The Director is looking for someone with confident skills in construction stages particularly on low-density Residential projects. You will have the support of another Architect who knows the project well, however, you would mostly be working autonomously.
Open to a 4-day week. Contract term minimum 6 months.
Key responsibilities
- Produce high quality documentation for low-density project
- Coordination with client and contractors
- Focus on construction stages initially
Skills and Experience
- Experience with ADG requirements preferred
- Excellent documentation, detailing and technical skills
- Good knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards
- Confidence with the ability to show initiative and be proactive
- Proficient Vectorworks knowledge
