About the role
We are currently looking for two full-time permanent Area Managers one is a First Nations and the other is a Women In Trade opportunity, These roles internally are known as an Area Manager Specialist Provider to join Apprenticeship Support Australia based in our New South Wales office.
We are looking for a people-focused, friendly, motivated and confident individual who will be a valued advisor and will love to support and encourage Apprentices to complete their apprenticeship.
Main responsibilities include:
- Manage the delivery of Servicing Contacts and Mentoring and Personal Support Services including team members providing support to Australian Apprentices, employers and any other relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor, coach and manage the team’s compliance with operational and organisational policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
- Review the performance of the team and implement improvements to procedures/training where necessary.
- Conduct investigations and make recommendations on actions resulting from client feedback.
- Monitor, coach and manage the team to ensure data integrity and accuracy of various data bases, and ensure the team completes this in a timely manner in line with guidelines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and supply channels, and monitor the performance of staff in doing the same.

This is the perfect opportunity to utilise your strong customer services skills. You will be a member of the relevant specialist cohort and or have extensive experience working with the specialist cohort
- Proven experience in customer service, sales, business development and/or account management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to set goals, organise own workload, prioritise, meet deadlines, and see tasks through to conclusion.
- Excellent computer literacy and keyboard skills.
- A trade qualification or demonstrated experience within the Clean Energy sector will be highly regarded
- Previous experience working effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander clients of all ages, including those with high level and complex needs is highly desirable
- Understanding of the issues faced by women in trades and/or male dominated work environments.
