DescriptionThe role:As an
Area Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and team members of a portfolio of car parks. You will enjoy working autonomously and have the ambition to achieve goals.This role will be offered as a permanent full-time position, with a home base at our office at Macquarie Place in Sydney CBD. You will have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table and have career progression within our group.
Key Duties include:- Leading your team, and providing visible support onsite
- Managing and monitoring the incidence of claims, customer complaints, staff issues and capital expenditure.
- Site Performances and Reporting
- Establishment of new sites
- Client and contractor liaison and relationship management
- Liaising with internal sales and marketing team members
- Providing regular, accurate and timely reporting and analysis on site performance to budget to PM
- Identifying, addressing and communicating actions taken on variances to budget in matters of resourcing, casual revenue, cost control
- Provide advice and recommendations on future infrastructure requirements, supported by ongoing market research
- report to the Portfolio Manager (PM)
- WHS compliance - monthly site inspections, risk assessments, incident and hazard reporting and investigations
ProfileSkills and requirements:- 5+ years of management experience within a client service industry (ideally in retail, hospitality or other service industries)
- Tertiary qualifications in business are highly desirable but not essential
- Strong time management skills developed through involvement in multi-site operations
- Ability to facilitate clear communication and direction to staff at all levels
- Significant experience in maintaining client relationships at all levels
- Demonstrated competence in situation analysis and decision-making
