Operating in excess of 40 years, TASK Forklifts has been offering forklift sales, rentals, and servicing for hundreds of companies’ nationwide.
An opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager to join the TASK Forklifts Team in our Geebung Branch.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Area Sales Manager to support our clients and manage sales activities which involves developing new and existing customer relationships, securing New and Used Forklift Sales, Long and Short Term rental contracts and periodical servicing agreements.
This role is essential to our continued financial growth with the key focus on sourcing and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with existing and prospective customers and continue to meet customer requirements
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and successfully convert leads.
- Qualify leads generated from our Social Media and Advertising initiatives
- Develop and execute planned sales strategies to increase the brand reach and penetration of TASK Forklifts.
- Regular meetings with the sales and marketing team to keep open communication and recent experience relevant to the customer’s experience with TASK Forklifts.
- Completion of Site visits, demonstrations, quotes, delivery and Installations
Required:
- Experience with managing sales pipelines and customer expectations and demands.
- Working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- You have a growth mindset with a positive attitude towards work and life
- Able to provide solutions in an efficient, confident manner
- High degree of initiative, self motivation and attention to detail
- Effective time management with ability to manage multiple customers and clients with competing priorities
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented with an underlying passion for success
