Artisan Baker – Full-Time – Burnt Honey Bakery, Copacabana Location
Nestled by the serene Copacabana Beach, Burnt Honey Bakery is a hub of artisanal excellence on the Central Coast of NSW. Our bakery is a testament to the art of traditional baking, where every loaf and pastry tells a story. We are now looking for a passionate and skilled Artisan Baker to join our team on a full-time basis.
Position: Full-Time Artisan Baker
Shifts: 1am to 9:30am, 3 days a week (including Sundays), slightly later starts 2 days a week.
Your Role: In this role, you will:
- Craft high quality sourdough and other specialty breads, focusing on consistency and excellence.
- Work with a range of baking equipment, ensuring optimal operation and care.
- Uphold the highest standards of baking, reflecting our commitment to artisan methods and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Collaborate with our team of dedicated bakers, contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment.
About You:
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a sourdough bakery or similar environment.
- Availability: Ability to consistently work early morning shifts starting at 1am, including Sundays.
- Reliability: Commitment to punctuality and dependability, ensuring smooth bakery operations.
- Passion for Baking: A genuine passion for artisan baking and a desire to continuously learn and grow in the craft.
