By offering a broad range of performance, music and visual arts activities that support patient recovery, Arts in Health at FMC promotes health and wellbeing in patients, staff and visitors. The program, established in 1996, is one of the largest hospital-based arts in health programs in Australia, with a national and international reputation for high quality and innovative programming.About the Role:The Arts in Health at FMC program offers a range of therapy-based and therapeutic arts activities and interventions that support patient recovery and promote health and wellbeing in the hospital community.As the Arts in Health Facilitator, your duties may include:

• Planning, developing and providing Arts in Health Facilitation activities to meet the needs of clients and their families across all areas of SALHN
• Encouraging creativity, innovation and honesty
• Liaising with ward staff regarding patient engagement and ward visits.
• Promoting an understanding of the purpose and principles of Arts in Health activities within the Network
• Evaluating programmes provided and develop recommendations and improvements

About you:To be successful for the role, you will need:Experience in the planning, implementation and evaluation of Art in Health Facilitated arts activitiesSignificant experience working with people of varying ages.Demonstrated ability to work independently and with inter-disciplinary teamsExcellent time management skills and flexibility to meet service demands. * Clear and effective verbal and written communication.Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.What To Know More?
