About Us

Envirolab Group comprising of Envirolab Services, MPL Laboratories and Labtec Auckland provides a broad range of laboratory testing services such as environmental chemistry, microbiology, asbestos, workplace exposure & air monitoring and product formulation and agrichemicals.

About the Role

As a Laboratory Analyst, you are primarily responsible for analysing samples received. You use the correct methodologies and equipment for testing to conform to quality system requirements and standards. You ensure regular equipment maintenance to minimise downtime and trouble shoot any problems.  You will also be trained to conduct non-routine sample preparation and analysis.

About You

We are looking for a motivated self starter with a “can do” attitude. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications (in Science & or Lab)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with PCM and PLM
  • Ability to meet tight timelines and work under pressure
  • Knowledge of AS4964-2004, NOHSC 3003-2005, NOHSC 3006-1989 and NEPM Guidelines
  • Proven ability to report on findings
  • Ability to calibrate sampling equipment
