About the Role:
The School ICT Support Officer is responsible to the Senior ICT Support Officer for the delivery of a range of project administration and change management duties which support the delivery of improved ICT Infrastructure. This work is part of the "Delivering Digital" ICT Master Plan and is focused on the ongoing improvement of ICT infrastructure services delivered to all government schools and preschools. The School ICT Support Officer liaises with site-based managers, staff, contractors and external service providers to coordinate the delivery of improved connectivity services and provides technical administration for the delivery of improved ICT Infrastructure. The position also contributes to the delivery of support for the Agency's ICT Infrastructure across department's sites and Services to meet organisational service delivery objectives and supports the delivery of ICT Infrastructure, initiatives, projects and programs.
Qualifications:
Desirable: A qualification related to, or knowledge of, ITIL methods and modern trends, standards and the practical application of information and communication technology.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO4 $75,430 - $79,070 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation
