AddressSt Joseph’s Preschool enables children to imagine, discover and create providing an environment where they can build meaningful connections with their world and grow in confidence and skills to achieve excellence.
We are seeking a suitably qualified, highly motivated and experienced early childhood co-educator to work alongside our Preschool Coordinator in facilitating a high-quality, child-centred preschool program. This position is 5 days per week during school terms.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Drawing upon a deep knowledge of contemporary Early Years pedagogy when engaging with children
- Collaboratively preparing, implementing and evaluating a developmentally appropriate program using the Early Years Learning Framework and in accordance with the National Quality Standards
- Reflecting, documenting and communicating children’s learning experiences accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with physical requirements of students requiring special care
- Supporting the Catholic Ethos of the school
Qualifications required:
- Early Childhood Qualification at Certificate 4 or Diploma level (ACECQA) approved
- Applicable First Aid Certificate relevant to the role requirements
- Current and acceptable Working with Children Clearance and screening to work in Catholic Education SA
- Current valid Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care certificate
