About the Role
The Asset Planning, Standards and Sustainability unit sits within the Capital Projects and Technical Services directorate and is responsible for leading and managing the strategic direction that informs executive decisions relating to Asset Planning, asset standards and asset sustainability to ensure education and care facilities align with current legislation, policies, and emerging trends.
The Analyst, Asset Planning is responsible for undertaking a range of infrastructure data gathering, verification and analysis processes across the Department’s information systems, preparing reports and discussion papers and providing evidence-based advice in relation to the strategic management of school capacity and planning.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
ASO5 $84,522 - $94,003 per annum plus superannuation
