Position Requirements
- Must be trade qualified.
- Minimum of at least 5 years at supervisor level, managing staff.
- Understanding of and commitment to OH&S and QA policies and procedures.
- Experience in Hydraulics and Mechanics is required.
- Ability to understand schematics/CAD drawings and to trouble shoot issues.
- Experience with ERP systems would be an advantage.
- Forklift License (Essential)
- Australian Residency (Essential)
Qualifications Required
- Trade Certificate – Fitter or Fitter and Turner or other relevant trade.
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Managing EWP and Cable Handling Assembly and Commissioning departments.
- Manage work through the workshop in accordance with the production schedules.
- Monitoring time on job and associated costs throughout the build
- Managing ERP requirements.
- Ensure work is carried out in the most efficient way and monitoring estimated production times against actual.
- Assist with parts shortages and sourcing alternatives, if required.
- Ensuring that apprentices are trained and are properly supervised.
- Assist assembly and commissioning teams with quality checks throughout the process.
- Liaise with senior members of the team to achieve on-time delivery and day to day workflow.
- Achieve section KPIs and positively contribute to achievement of factory performance KPIs.
- Ensure Company policies and procedures are followed.
