The Assessing & Repair Operations Manager will develop and manage a high performing specialist operations team to ensure delivery of the Assessing & Repair Strategy for the Home Claims business.
What you'll do
- Alignment to strategies developed with the Assess and Repair, Procurement and Supplier and Partner Performance teams
- Oversight on all assess and repair approaches across all regions
- Maintain our document libraries, procedures and process manuals
- Audit and benchmarking of the effectiveness of both national and regional Assess and Repair operational models
- Promotion of the use of panel suppliers through scheduled workshops and training sessions
- The provision of technical expertise to resolve problems and advise alternative solutions
- Management of individual and team workloads and management of resources to respond to competing interests of 'BAU' and 'Events.'
- Provide SME advice and support to Home claim initiatives
- Contribute to setting performance objectives for the team
- Increase the technical ability of team members through training and coaching
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Relevant trade, business and/or industry qualification
- Can demonstrate a sound understanding of both the consumer and business claims strategy
- Internal and external claims management insights
- Strong knowledge of key business drivers that enable accurate budgeting, forecasting and business planning
