The Opportunity

Based from Perth, this is your opportunity to join our Apprentice Connect Provider (ACP) division and work with Australia’s largest single provider.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager – Assessment Services, the Assessment Services Consultantis responsible for conducting Assessment Services as well as providing pre-commencement advice about Australian Apprenticeships to employers and job seekers to ensure all parties are set up to succeed in the apprenticeship program and that adequate supports are in place.

This critical role will day to day be responsible for but not limited to:

• Providing pre-commencement advice and early education information about Australian Apprenticeships to employers and job seekers.  
• Facilitate delivery of a face to face or visual electronic Australian Apprentice Skills & Knowledge Evaluation (AASKE) assessment. To be conducted with all newly commencing and Key Client Group Australian Apprentices.  
• Facilitate delivery of Employer Skills & Knowledge Evaluation (ESKE) assessment of identified Employers Requiring Support
• Facilitate referrals to relevant internal and external support services to address identified areas requiring support, per set processes
• Contribute to increasing the commencement, retention and completion rate of Australian Apprentices through the provision of Assessment services. 
• Focus on meeting customer expectations by delivering quality customer service to employers, Australian Apprentices and other external and internal stakeholders

About you

You will be an ambitious, adaptable, and personable self-starter with a passion for providing excellent customer service and support. You will be ready to take the next step in your customer service, administration, recruitment or employment services career and bring your:  

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with an excellent phone manner for inbound and outbound calls

• Experience and capability to successfully influence and negotiate within a complex and fast-changing business environment in order to achieve efficient and effective business outcomes
• Ability to analyse, interpret and follow guidelines and procedures
• Proven capacity to meet set targets and KPIs
• Passion for working collaboratively and consultatively with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of responsibility and within a team environment
• Demonstrated high level of computer literacy across a range of programs, including MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook 
• Demonstrated accurate and efficient data entry skills with attention to detail
