We service seven (7) water and wastewater communities within the Greater Sydney and Hunter area, providing high quality recycled water to 10,000 and ultimately 25,000 customers from locally sourced wastewater and stormwater. We are the only private water utility in Australia that has the end-to-end design, build, operation and customer retail of wastewater and recycled water services.
We are Seeking
Altogether is looking for an Asset Engineer to join our capital projects team. You will have the overall responsibility for providing the transactional, technical network compliance to our Water Operations team for the delivery of new utility schemes.
As Asset Engineer, you will review development application plans and associated compliance documentation, ensuring all developer works are compliant.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintaining current development records, drafting Notices of Requirements, issues Certificates of Compliance and other developer compliance documentation.
- Facilitate the handover of newly constructed development stages to the Water Operations team.
- Ensuring all new assets are registered within the asset management system.
- Maintaining Geographical Information System and masterplans.
- Reviewing and approving any non-standard connection application
Skills & Experience
You will have:
- Civil or Structural Engineering or construction management qualifications, preferably being a Chartered Engineer
- Experience and personal alignment with being in a systemised role
- Experience within the water, utilities, or construction industry preferred
- Experience in a highly regulated environment
