Senior Engineer - Civil Assets

Permanent - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $113678.04 to $132113.24 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Transport and Civil Infrastructure is responsible for the provision, management and maintenance of urban infrastructure and the delivery of transport, traffic, marine transport and urban infrastructure projects and services. Transport and Civil Infrastructure has both internal and external clients and provides service across a range of functional areas including:

• Transport Network Planning & Traffic
• Marine transport infrastructure in Pittwater and Sydney Harbour
• Transport and Civil Infrastructure Asset Management
• Community Transport, Parking & Fleet
• Construction and Maintenance of Civil Infrastructure
• Business Operations

The key focus areas of this role include:

• Act as the ‘client’ for all road and marine transport related assets within the remit of Northern Beaches Council.
• Lead and develop renewal programs for various asset classes including footpath and wharf renewals.
• Manage and recommend improvements in streetscape management of the road reserve including encroachment applications and investigations.
• Inspire, lead and mentor a junior engineer working with the role.
