Asset Inspector

Assets Inspector - previous experience in an Asset Management, Civil Engineering or Engineering Surveying role essential
$50 + per hour

• Opportunity to flex hours into a 9-day fortnight.
• Three-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
• Office located in Walliston, with offsite work required.

Our client is looking for an Asset Inspector to join their team on a full-time basis, for a minimum of three-months. We are seeking experienced individuals with a background in Asset Management, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Surveying.Key Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in a related field is mandatory to be considered for this role.
• Possession of a current A class driver's licence
• Must have working rights in Australia.

Your day-to-day activities will include;

• Assist the Coordinator Asset Management in the accurate collection and entry of physical and conditional asset data into the organisation's Corporate Asset Management and Geographical Information (GIS) systems.
• Field collection of inventory and condition data, updating asset registers in the Asset Management System.
• Identification of renewal works including determination of treatments, preparation of budget cost estimates, and prioritisation of projects.
• Undertake quality control inspections to ensure compliance with all specifications and engineering standards.
• Operate within, and manage, project budgets.

• Assisting in the preparation of Grant Funding applications.
• Provision of technical advice across a range of infrastructure assets.
