A public sector authority dedicated to improving the lives of its community members. They provide innovative services and infrastructure. They are looking for an Asset Management Officer who will provide Road and DrainageAsset Management expertise.
Your new role
You will develop and maintain the organisation’s Roads and Drainage asset registers to facilitate effective Asset Management and financial reporting. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise in the development of geographical information system capabilities.
Additional accountabilities:
Utilising information and systems to develop Asset Management solutions including GIS based asset data and customer enquiry data sets with Road Asset Systems and Strategic Asset Management and Maintenance System
Coordinating, undertaking and managing asset data and information through the asset life cycle, including but not limited to asset creation, condition survey, and creating data flow to ensure accuracy and currency of asset related information.
What you'll need to succeed
You have knowledge of Asset Management principles and knowledge of the development of systems and procedures for road and DrainageAsset Management. Additionally, you have experience and understanding of the development of Asset Management plans and spatial information systems.
Additional qualifications:
Possession of a current "C" class driver's licence
Relevant technical qualification in Infrastructure Asset management or demonstrated experience in Infrastructure Lifecycle Management, including the ability to read and interpret "As Constructed" drawings.
