- TCSA Salaried Employees Award, Clerk Grade 5/ 6, annual package starting from $104,809 (includes base salary starting from $93,295 + 11% superannuation & leave loading)
Taronga Zoo Sydney is looking for a switched on, tech-savvy, and knowledgeable Asset Project Coordinator to join our Assets team. The successful candidate will have knowledge, skills and experience in the building/ construction field.
About the Role…
The primary purpose of this position is to administer the safe and timely delivery of Asset Management maintenance works delivered by staff and contractors within the framework of Taronga Conservation Society Australia, NSW government and safe works policies and procedures.
- This is a Monday to Friday position; 7.30am - 3.36pm
- Ideal Start Date, Early July 2024
Key Accountabilities…
- Manage multiple asset improvement projects, within agreed budget, timeframes and compliance requirements.
- Engage and supervise staff and contractors to deliver scheduled and reactive maintenance works at Taronga Zoo.
- Develop and implement scheduled maintenance schedules across Taronga's Asset classes.
- Comply with and report any Work, Health and Safety incidents in line with Taronga's Work, Health Safety Charter,
- Develop, maintain and implement Asset procurement documentation and procedures in line with Taronga and NSW Government requirements.
- Consult with stakeholders regarding procurement options for works and delivery to ensure best value for money outcome.
- Undertake risk and prioritization for varying maintenance backlog projects, in collaboration from internal asset staff members,
- Work collaboratively with internal and external staff and contractors to identify issues and risks, and prioritise works accordingly
About You…
We are looking for candidates that have:
- Tertiary trade qualifications in building/ construction or an equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and experience.
- Sound understanding of technology; including Microsoft suite and contracts management systems
- Hold a current NSW Drivers License or ability to have existing license formally recognised, including manual.
- Obtain and maintain a current NSW Working with Children Check.
