ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a meticulous numbers expert with a passion for precision and compliance? We're looking for an exceptional Assistant Accountant to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.
The Assistant Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and support various operational and strategic initiatives.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide full end-to-end function support to external Associates and Senior Associates responsible for processing all Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and Bank reconciliation.
- Manage the Concur PO, Invoice and Expense claim transactions daily, and complete the accounting review for transition posting integration.
- Manage the Concur application, responsible for user/vendor setup, and master data setting.
- Assist in the preparation of journals for the IFRS16 Lease.
- Assist with submitting monthly, quarterly, and yearly Legal reporting packs.
- Reconcile Balance Sheets and resolve outstanding items monthly.
- Assist with month-end Profit and Loss variance analysis before Month-end closing.
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes with detailed expense analysis.
- Process the intercompany transactions and ensure all
- Assist with month-end Profit and Loss variance analysis before Month-end closing.
- Execute month-end journals accurately and timely.
- Intercompany accounts are reconciled per the Intercompany monthly cut-off schedule.
ABOUT YOU
- Degree in accounting, experience in a top-tier accounting firm preferred.
- Working towards the CPA or CA qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and Bank rec function.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
