Hunter’s Dream Estate Pty Ltd is one of Australia’s leading producers of large volume, high quality, extra virgin olive oil derived from premium Italian grown varieties and intended for wide distribution to the Australian and International markets.
About the role:
This varied and challenging role is based in Belrose and will involve reporting directly to the Financial Manager. It would suit a driven individual with extensive all-rounded accounting experience, including but not limited to
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Handle accounts payable & accounts receivable
- Verify and process expense claim and exercising assets register control
- Prepare periodical financial reports and business analysis for manager's review
- Perform general accounting duties such as BAS, Depreciation, etc.
- Conduct regular cash flow and P/L forecasts
- Monitor and analyse budget variances, providing insights to management
- Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and support decision-making processes
- Ensure all required auditing procedures are followed in an accurate and timely manner
- General administrative tasks and other ad hoc duties as directed by management from time to time
What you need to succeed:
To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified major in Accounting or relevant fields and have prior experience in a similar role. You will be a trustworthy & strong communicator and have good attention to detail with the ability to act without guidance.
- A minimum of 2-3 years relevant accounting experience with proficiency in XERO and/or other accounting software
- Bilingual (English & Mandarin) will be an advantage
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) with sound numerical and communication skills
- Reliability and strong attention to detail
- Self motivated and able to work autonomously
- Be well organized and comfortable with deadlines
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
