AddressMCA Engineering is a leading Engineering and Project Delivery company specialising in surface and underground mining projects. Australian owned and operated, MCA offers a wide range of services including concept design studies, detailed design and engineering through to fabrication and construction to the mining and construction industries.
About the role:
- Due to the continuing growth of MCA Engineering we are requiring another Team member for our Accounts Department based in Thornton.
- The position on offer is a permanent part-time position 2-3 days a week 7.6 hour days.
- This is a generalist role with the perfect person to learn all roles so we have coverage for all team members to have leave when required, we need the work to continue to flow as this will contribute to the efficiency and success of our little team and growing business.
- Purchasing/Procurement – Experience working with multiple jobs and cost centres with attention to detail for adding line items.
- Accounts Payable - Processing of tax invoices in Simpro & Xero. Reconciling of statements for end of month. Payment of creditor batches.
- Reconciling - Bank reconciliation. Debit card reconciling.
About you:
- Ideally our new team member will have experience in Xero (Accounts), and Simpro (Accounts/Procurement) however we are more than happy to provide full training for these packages to the right person.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to liaise with people at all levels of an organization and maintain effective relationships.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- Able to work in a team environment and share workloads is a must as the office is fast paced and ever-changing flexibility is a must.
