Accounts Administration Assistant

Nexus Mining is a leading contractor in the underground coal sector of the Illawarra, offering the most extensive range of specialised services and skills to the coal industry in New South Wales and Queensland. 

Nexus Mining is seeking to employ a highly motivated, suitably skilled Accounts Administration Assistant to join a dynamic and high performing team on site. 
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, professional and focused individual, who thrives on working in a busy environment.
The successful candidate will assist with the below, but are not limited to the following;

• Data entry and record management
• Assisting with reports for management  
• Providing daily administration support to the team
• Payroll and accounts support
• High volume of work
• Invoicing 
• Liaising with external and internal stakeholders 

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in an office administration role
• Strong financial accounting background
• Exceptional communication and service skills
• Strong Microsoft Suite skills and experience
• High level of attention to detail
• Be eager to learn and willing to take on new challenges
• You will be required to complete a National Police History Check for this role
