About the role:
In this role, you will be supporting the Finance Manager role with the following tasks:
- Liaise with the accounts payable team, managing the vendors/providers set up on Odoo and the vendor payment process.
- Manage the fortnightly payroll and all associated tasks on the external payroll system and prepare payroll GL journals.
- Providing payroll-related relevant information during interim and year-end audits.
- Maintaining relevant data on Odoo (products, product variants, provider costs, sales prices, GST, etc)
- Liaising with the Accounts payable team in managing the vendor payment/expense allocation process on Alayacare.
- Maintaining/extracting relevant information for month-end reporting
- Managing Debit card and cabcharge reconciliations
About you:
- At least 3-5 years experience in an Assistant Accountant position and at least one year experience as a payroll officer.
- Experience with Odoo is not required but will be regarded.
- Excell intermediate to advanced
- Positive attitude
- Good communication skills
