Our client is a well-established general Insurance Broking firm in the heart of Sydney. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for a self-motivated individual with a proven track record to join a fast paced broking team as an Assistant Account Executive.
About the Role and Your Responsibilities
Working closely with and reporting directly to your Account Manager you will be responsible for day to day servicing of a portfolio of general insurance policies. You will be liasing with clients and brokers and looking after processing of new business and renewals.
To succeed in this role you must have:
- 12 months experience as an assistant in a broking firm
- Basic knowledge of Commercial SME and Personal Lines business will be highly regarded
- You must be a focused and self-motivated individual
- You must show strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build rapport with clients and brokers over the phone and face-to-face
