Menulog is looking for an Assistant Accountant who will work across both commercial and compliance functions. In this role, we're counting on you to:
- Ownership of the employee expense claim process, including review and approval inline with company policy.
- Responsibility for the accounts payable function, ensuring adherence to the company procurement policy.
- Preparation and processing of weekly courier partner payments.
- Preparation and processing of weekly restaurant partner payments.
- Accounts Receivables Ownership
- Assist with external audit functions.
- A range of business projects that will see you engage with members of the business outside finance. It will be your responsibility to operate and ensure completion of these projects both independently and as part of a team.
This is a hands-on role that requires a hard working, motivated & focused individual with excellent time management skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Business with Accounting major.
- Part qualified or intention to complete CPA/CA
- Great attention to detail.
- Intermediate Excel knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills with key stakeholders, both financial & non-financial.
- A “can do” proactive approach with the capability to adapt to changing priorities.
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, with a passion to succeed.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
- A desire to grow and learn and progress your career.
