Assistant Accountant

Main responsibilities:

• Assisting with the daily bank account reconciliations
• Supporting/reconciliations of accounts receivables and accounts payables and liaising with external suppliers and creditors 
• Supporting the weekly / monthly / and quarterly sales reporting 
• Assisting with monthly financial reporting including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
• Reporting to the finance manager

Requirements:

• University qualifications in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with – Xero and other accounting software
• Intermediate Excel skills are ideal along with proficient use of other Microsoft Office programs, such as word and outlook
• The ability to meet set deadlines and prioritize activities where required.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Attention to details 
• Familiar with a fast-paced work environment
