About the role
The role of the Assistant Accountant is vital within the business in ensuring that all aspects of accounting are taken care of and offers much diversity as the business continues to grow. It offers the ability to make the role your own and develop systems & processes for its success.
Your responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Associated AR/AP functions including day to day management
- Daily reconciling of bank/e-commerce accounts and transactions
- Processing of expenses & related journal entries
- Data entry and intercompany account reconciliation
- Credit Card & merchant reconciliation
- A variety of administrative and other Ad-hoc duties as required
Skills and experience
The successful candidate must have:
Minimum 2 years of work experience within the Accounting sector is a MUST.
- Business degree or equivalent
- Strong experience in accounting of construction companies and job costing
- Experience in MYOB and Sage CRM would be highly advantageous.
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- A high level of accuracy and high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and fast paced.
- Ability to handle high volumes of work.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized.

We are looking for the right candidate to be available on a Full time basis in the office . Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
