Closer to home, and centrally located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, The Accor Salter Brothers Hotel Portfolio is now recruiting for an Assistant Accountant.
The Assistant Accountant will be within our hub and will oversee the following hotels:
- The Sebel Sydney Martin Place
- Ibis Styles Sydney Central
- Mercure Sydney Bankstown
- Mercure Sydney Macquarie Park
- Mercure Sydney Blacktown
- Mercure Sydney Manly Warringah
- Mercure Melbourne Southbank
- Mercure Newcastle
- Mercure Perth on Hay
- Mercure Brisbane Garden City
- Novotel Sydney City Centre

What will you be doing?
Supervised by hotel accountant and supported by the Finance Officers, your daily duties will include:
- Bank Reconciliation
- Cash Reconciliation
- Revenue Posting
- Oversight of AR for a cluster of hotels
- Credit reference checks
- Guest refunds
- Assist in month end process
Qualifications
Your Skills and experience include:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role preferably in the Hospitality industry.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of general ledger coding and accounts structures.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
