At SafetyXpress, we cherish and invest in our people. Now, as we ascend on our journey of continuous growth, we're on the lookout for a full-time Assistant Accountant at our Keysborough facility.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager the key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Your role will be a symphony of financial prowess, orchestrating daily tasks like a virtuoso.
- Dive into the intricacies of accounts payable and receivable duties, masterfully oversee invoicing, refund processes, receipt, approval processes, and play a crucial part in the grand finale of month-end reporting and reconciliation procedures.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role we are looking for :
Degree qualified - Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce or equivalent, preferred.
•3+ year's accounting experience.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Demonstrated experience in working well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
•Working on Xero will be advantageous.
•Understanding of fair credit practices and collection regulations.
•Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
•Adequate computer skills in Microsoft Excel & Word.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong problem solver and analytical skills.
• The ability to be a forward thinker and show initiative.
