YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
12 month fixed-term role - maternity leave cover
The role of the Assistant Accountant is to monitor daily cash flows, prepare bank reconciliations, prepare the monthly fixed asset reconciliation and accruals and assist with general ledger reconciliations, monthly transaction processing and other tasks as required. In addition, the Assistant Accountant will assist Peter Mac's audit process and compliance obligations.
Flexible working arrangements available.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Experience providing analysis and support to identify and resolve financial accounting issues with reconciliations, prepayments and accruals.
- Experience working with large integrated commercial finance systems and reporting software along with excellent computer literacy skills such as Microsoft Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to contribute in a team environment
