Join our team at Co-Conspirators Brewing Company, located in Brunswick. We are currently seeking a skilled bookkeeper to join us on a part-time basis. We offer a hybrid work arrangement that combines remote and in-office flexibility.
Position:
Hybrid Bookkeeper (Part-time)
Location:
Brunswick (Hybrid - combination of remote and in-office work)
Hours:
2-3 days per week (flexible schedule)
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to support financial reporting and analysis
- Handle other ad-hoc financial tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and MS Office, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Certification and/or Bookkeeping credentials are a plus
