About the role:
- Providing support to the Senior accountant and reporting to CFO
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management including preparation and processing of invoices and payments
- Bank / Credit card reconciliations
- General ledger reconciliations
- Ensure creditor and debtor statements/ invoices are recorded on weekly basis
- Assist in banking
- Records management and filing
- Assist in fortnightly processing of payroll
- Assist in grants reporting
- Assist Senior Accountant / CFO in year end financial reporting and audit
- Assist in BAS / IAS lodgements
- The ideal candidate will be able to contribute their experience and knowledge within accounting functions
- Diploma / Degree in accounting
- Not for profit experience preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting / bookkeeper role
- Great verbal and written skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite ( Word, Excel)
- Intermediate skills in MYOB is a must.
