This is the perfect opportunity for a part-qualified CA or CPA with 1-2 years of experience in the Big 4/Mid-Tier to join a growing, profitable ASX business. You may also have 1-2 years experience as an Assistant Accountant at another large ASX.
The Challenge
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to month-end closings with precision and timeliness.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting by posting month-end journals.
- Master balance sheet reconciliations, swiftly resolving discrepancies.
- Support audit processes by collating documentation for external auditors.
- Handle reporting duties to meet deadlines effectively.
- Manage cash flow by reconciling multiple bank accounts.
- Facilitate seamless intercompany transactions and invoicing.
- Review and process supplier invoices efficiently.
- Utilize BDO Lead software for IFRS 16 lease accounting.
- Engage in diverse ad hoc projects and tasks.

- You may be working towards your CA/CPA qualifications or equivalent.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- Excellent communication both written and verbal

- Organised with the ability to prioritise, identify processes, tasks and resources required to achieve a goal
