A Global business and leader in their field is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their corporate headquarters located in Brisbane CBD. Joining a very high quality team you will have a varied role supporting all aspects of group financial reporting.
Your duties will include:

• Assisting with the month end financial close process
• Ensuring completeness and accuracy of the fixed assets and leases sub ledger
• Preparing journals
• Ensuring compliance with policy and standards
• Assisting with internal and external audits
• Maintaining relevant controls
• Assisting with all levels of reporting and associated analysis
• Involvement in projects such as system implementations
• Support for process automation and process improvements

Your experience, qualifications and attributes:

• Degree qualified and working towards CA/CPA qualifications
• Self motivated and driven to succeed
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong computer literacy, (systems used include SAP and Qlikview)
• Proactive with strong organisational skills
