Assistant Accountant - Hybrid (3 Days From Home)

• $80,000 - $85,000 + superannuation

The Company

We are working with a large commercial organisation, specialising within the Services' Industries who have demonstrated year on year growth; as a result, this is a newly created position for an Assistant Accountant to join the team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong transactional background within the Accounts Receivable and Credit space, seeking a step up to focus on the reporting and analytics within this space. You will love numbers, you will love reporting and you will love business partnering with Senior Stakeholders!

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to

• Daily allocations & Receipting
• Daily Bank Reconciliations
• Preparation of Invoices / Credit Notes / Adjustments
• Preparation of Intercompany Accounts
• Weekly & Monthly Revenue Reporting & Analysis
• Reporting and analysis of Write-Offs
• Weekly & Month Debtors Reporting with commentaries.

Your Profile

• Degree Qualifications in Business / Accounting (or similar)
• Demonstrated experience with large ERPs
• Strong level of Excel skills
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills
• Demonstrated experience with reporting and analysis
• Thorough understanding of Balance Sheet and PnL accounts including journal entries
