Founded over 25 years ago, our client is a reputable, leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, highly recognised for their expertise, growth, and constant innovation. They are currently experiencing a period of growth and are seeking a talented Assistant Accountant to assist them through the new year and potentially longer term.
The RoleYour role as the Assistant Accountant is a full-function opportunity, working within a close-knit finance team of 4. You will report directly to the Finance Manager and be responsible for:
- Weekly payroll processing (low-volume)
- Full-function accounts payable
- Payroll reconciliations
- Credit card expenses
- BAS and tax lodgements
- Assisting in month-end duties
- Assisting in budgeting & forecasting
- Provide AR support when needed
To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE (no more than 1 day notice)
- Degree qualified & looking to undertake their CA or CPA
- Xero & NetSuite experience would be beneficial
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
