They have built their own infrastructure and state-of-the-art facilities to ensure top level services are provided to the community.There is a key focus on sustainability and waste management, a key focus point in any growing metropolitan city. With that comes considerations for ESG accounting and reporting and governance.If you are looking to add to your technical toolkit, work in a great team of seasoned accounting professionals, and also be in an organisation providing essential sustainable services to your community - look no further!You can WFH 2 days a week once trained.The RoleReporting to a fantastic approachable finance leader you will be responsible for:

• Accruals and prepayments calculations and journals
• Cost centre allocation
• Financial management and reporting
• Variance to budget analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing month-end processes: P & L and balance sheet
• Assistance in the preparation of year-end statutory reporting

Your BackgroundTo be considered for this opportunity, the hiring manager is looking for:

• Someone studying their CA or CPA - ideally at least halfway through the modules
• Good month-end experience including accruals, prepayments and journals on the resume
• Excellent communication skills
• Can start immediately
