ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will give the right candidate the opportunity to gain valuable experience across the property industry with exposure to many areas in accounting and administration while working within a positive and supportive environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining bank and general ledger reconciliations
- General ledger rental postings, journal entries, documentation review and maintenance
- Assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor and the accounts payable team with processing, monitoring emails and ad hoc tasks
- Investigation of discrepancies and resolving issues
- Assisting with the year end audit process
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
ABOUT YOU
- This is a permanent full time position and is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic team. We are looking for someone who is passionate and motivated and is keen to learn. Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business or commerce
- MYOB and Excel skills are essential
- Jobpac experience is an advantage but not required
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in a similar role
