The Harvey Norman Corporate Office, located in Homebush West is seeking for a technically competent and motivated individual to be an integral party of the Management Accounting Team.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will support in processing and reconciliation of monthly transactions of the independent franchised entities to the General Ledger. You will also:
Process receipts, payments and all other transactions from a web based online system
Reconciliation of various franchise balance sheet and P&L accounts
Allocation of monthly charges
Calculation of Franchise Trust Profit Distributions
Compilation and release of monthly sales for over 200 stores
Compilation of half year-end and year-end sales data
Liaising with Administration Managers to resolve discrepancies
General office duties – Maintenance of records, reports, filing and answering queries
About you
To be successful in this position, you will possess the following:
Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Self-motivated and great attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Good knowledge of Debits, Credits and basic accounting principles
Previous experience in SAP Fiori S/A Hana financial systems is desirable
Minimum TAFE qualified or currently completing TAFE/University Accounting course
Minimum 2 years’ experience within a medium to large commercial business
