SalaryTraverse Alpine Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Bar Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Bar Manager, you will assist the Venue Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring high levels of customer service, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
About the Role:
- Assist the Bar Manager in managing the day-to-day activities of the bar
- Train and supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked with all necessary supplies and ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor and maintain service quality, addressing any issues or concerns
- Assist in developing and implementing new cocktail menus and promotions
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels accordingly
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Previous experience in a similar role within the bar industry
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage trends
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Current RSA certificate
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and a passion for creating excellent customer experiences
- Previous experience in a similar role within the bar industry
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage trends
