An exciting opportunity is currently available for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our OTC Consumer marketing team in St Leonards to help drive the growth of the FLO brand portfolio in the Australian market. We are seeking a dynamic junior marketer to collaborate on an exciting brand journey, turn insights into action, and help deliver memorable marketing campaigns and initiatives to consumers and healthcare professionals.
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you will support the development and implementation of new brand initiatives for a portfolio of therapeutic nasal and sinus products sold in the pharmacy and grocery channel. There will also be a focus on delivering HCP marketing initiatives to engage key recommenders (GPs and ENT specialists). Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the FLO Brand team with the development and implementation of key strategic plans
- Controlling assigned marketing spends within approved budgets to support achievement of profit targets
- Assisting with marketing communication activities to deliver the brand plans, including:
- Participating in internal planning meetings
- Development of briefs
- Liaising with agencies for design, POS, packaging, digital, advertising and PR
- Website development and maintenance
- Developing, implementing and managing HCP specific marketing activities, including training, details aids and conference materials
- Building strong cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders in our marketing and commercial functions, and managing assigned agencies and suppliers to budget and agreed performance parameters
- Preparation and distribution of reports on activities, outcomes and recommendations
About You:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Marketing graduate looking to develop their experience and skill set in Brand Management. Requirements include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related degree
- Some experience working as a Marketing Assistant or Coordinator is preferred, ideally gained in FMCG or consumer products
- A positive and proactive attitude, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work at pace
- Exceptional communication and project management skills are essential, with the ability to proactively engage stakeholders, multi-task and run multiple projects simultaneously
- A high level of motivation to work autonomously and also be a team player to deliver exceptional results, from briefing to approval, ensuring all timelines are met across all activities
