We are looking for a passionate, energetic and creative Assistant Brand Manager to join our Retail Marketing team, to fill a 12 month period of maternity leave. This position reports to the Senior Brand Manager – Pizza and is responsible for contributing to and executing the short to medium term direction of the Retail Pizza portfolio (namely the Brand Plans and execution into the Annual Operating Commitment), with the overarching objective to maximise portfolio growth and improve business profitability.
About the role
Contribute to executing the portfolio strategy into brand plans
Execute the implementation strategy
Participate in the development of Long-Range Plans
Collaboratively work to execute creative and innovative marketing activation campaigns
Conduct post launch reviews of activation plans
Develop print packaging and associated marketing collateral
Work closely with Consumer Services to assist with investigative complaints
Ensure a robust understanding of the key drivers of performance for the brand/category
Assist in accurate sales forecasting for use in planning
Issue and reconcile purchase orders and invoices
Ensure the company complies with all legal requirements for product sales promotion and advertising
Actively collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure all members feel engaged to deliver on plans
Create an inclusive and collaborative relationship with key external suppliers
About you
Degree qualified in marketing or business management
At least 2 years' experience in brand marketing, sales or a closely aligned commercial function
Experience in leading and motivating cross functional projects is required
Demonstrate exceptional project management skills
Experience working with cross functional teams
Enjoy problem solving and possess a strong drive for results
Able to effectively manage competing priorities
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and analyse numerical data
Effective written, verbal and visual skills
Computer literacy skills with proficient use of Microsoft Office
