The Role
The role of a Assistant Brand / Marketing Manager will focus on the development and execution of agreed Marketing initiatives in accordance with the Marketing Strategy. The primary role of the Marketing function at The Sporting Globe is to build brand equity, drive sales and increase profit. The role acts as a support to the Brand Manager of The Sporting Globe.
What’s Required
- Contribute to the development and strategy of the annual marketing plan
- Contribute to the development of briefs for creative, media, PR and other agency partners as required
- Develop and execute photo shoots for marketing campaigns and menus including briefing, venue booking and direction on the day
- Develop and execute consumer promotions, marketing campaigns and guest experience initiatives in line with the agreed marketing strategy
- Monitor campaign effectiveness against agreed KPIs. Complete post campaign analysis and make recommendations based on key learnings
- Develop the strategic marketing plans for new restaurant openings or refurbishments
- Develop internal communications to inform broader team on marketing campaigns and development
- Lead development of the local area marketing toolkit, budget allocation and reporting
- Maintain POS schedule and ensure restaurants are supplied with correct material
- Support development of social media content, scheduling and reporting
- Support refinement of The Sporting Globe brand, delivering consistent visual language across all platforms
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activity and industry trends. Recommend actions to ensure The Sporting Globe are ahead of the competitive set
- Build effective working relationships across the Signature Hospitality business
- Promote best practice within the Marketing department and constantly look to improve processes and procedures
About You
- Tertiary educated in marketing or related field
- Demonstrated experience in building brand equity and increasing sales through marketing initiatives
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
